As most people would say, its f2.0 bright lens is the best feature of S90 model. It is consistent from all aspect of the shot. It is very sharp and the barrel distortion is at minimal. On the other hand, you cannot expect long zooming motion as it only has 3.8x. White balance is also good, making color temperature of images great.

The highlight of Canon Power Shot S90 model is its organized control system which is very user-friendly. You can certainly control it with so much ease. The improved Smart Auto mode is mind blowing. It automatically tracks and identifies moving objects. It also has scene and face recognition technology which sets greater focus on the subject. The control ring of the S90 lets you adjust settings by rotating it. This gives an analog feeling that most digital cameras do not have.

Despite its setbacks, the Canon Power Shot S90 is a top caliber digital DSLR camera. Its great image output quality is good enough for you to try it. It is good as an everyday camera for professional photographers. It can capture great images with its dependable lens. Though speed is important, its totality is worth enough for its price. The S90 does a great job of combining its photographer-friendly features with a simple and uncomplicated body design and smooth finish.
