The Olympus E-300 digital camera is possibly one of the best digital cameras in 8 mega pixel category and it is known to stretch users’ photographic limitations to their maximum. Being a fully enabled digital SLR camera, Olympus E-300 combines a powerful 8 mega pixel engine with legendary Zuiko digital lenses, to create a cutting edge technology in digital photography. An exclusive supersonic Wave filter is probably the most distinguishing feature that is not matched by any other digital camera.

When you handle this beauty, you’ll be thrilled by its feel and touch, as well as its comparatively light weight. On the back of the E-300, you'll find a 1.8 "HyperCrystal" LCD display, with its crystal clear display and preview pane. However, LCD display is only used for reviewing your shots during playback and while using the menus; you cannot perform a live "preview" before you actually capture an image. As this camera doesn’t come quipped with a memory card, you may have to add the cost of a good memory card into your budget. Just above the LCD, you’ll find an ultra new viewfinder, which is huge, so big that it can actually show 95% of the frame! Inside this viewfinder, you’ll also see an array of symbols and numbers showing the current camera settings.

To the left are five functional buttons which are easy to access and control with just two of your fingers. Its 14 preset shooting modes also provide you a wide vista in digital photography and feel free to use their innovative features to capture images under many difficult situations. As you lightly press the shutter button, efficient TTL auto focus systems takes over the job of tracking the subject and maintain a blur free focus for better images.
